Our Vision: A Community Transformed by Art

Our Mission: Connecting theatrical arts producers and patrons through shared resource development, production, promotion and community-building.

Our Why: We’re a nonprofit association skilled at producing shows, raising money and building community. The East County region of San Diego has a small number of theater producers, and a large number of artists, theatergoers and patrons. ECPAA helps producers by promoting the entire regional theatrical arts scene and bringing together a community of patrons eager to offer financial support to the entire region’s benefit.

Our What: Our patron development and fundraising programs raise money throughout the year. ECPAA both produces shows and shares fundraising proceeds among member producers through fund distribution, as well as start-up grants to emerging companies.

Out How: ECPAA has adopted a comprehensive Production Standards policy based on the Chicago Theater Standards, viewable here.

San Diego East County? Includes the communities of Alpine, Borrego Springs, El Cajon, Jamul, Julian, La Mesa, Lakeside, Lemon Grove, Ramona, Santee, and Spring Valley.
